I’d heard rumours of a Dutch kite designer turning his attention to paragliding and parakites. Parakites are the latest innovation in flying sport and allow the pilot more control and precision than ever. This also means more fun.

It was really interesting to interview Bryan Van Ostheim and, being a fellow engineer, we nerded out for a little longer than I’d planned.

I’m proud of this 2,000 word profile feature published in Cross Country Magazine. It outlines Bryan’s backstory from childhood to bringing his “performance parakite” successfully to market. At the same time, it gives an up-close and personal feel for who he is.
